Resolution demands ‘permanent space’ for LGBTQ students

Clemson University’s student government has responded to pleas from student group leaders by passing a resolution calling for a “permanent space” for the “LGBTQ+ community” on campus.

The school is not commenting on the demand, other than to say that no space has been identified for the center at this time.

Butler course teaches ‘strategies’ for resisting Trump

A Butler University course masquerading as a class on “U.S. Democracy” will actually teach students “strategies for resistance” to the Trump administration.

An online course description declares that “Trump’s rhetoric is contrary to the foundation of the U.S. democracy” because it perpetuates “sexism, white supremacy, xenophobia, nationalism, nativism, and imperialism.”

UPDATE: Butler has updated the course description in response to news coverage of the course, and is promising that students will not be required to engage in activism.

I think these kids are going to end up hurting someone, thinking they will be doing it for the greater good.

Fascism will be on the rise again, and they are the fascists.

CSUF student gov rejects free speech education campaign

The student government at California State University, Fullerton recently rejected a free speech resolution proposed after a faculty member allegedly assaulted a conservative student on campus.

Opponents said there is no need for a campaign to educate the community about freedom of speech, insisting that allegations of a faculty member assaulting a conservative student during a political rally are a “witch hunt.”

‘Cinco de Drinko’ parties are cultural appropriation, say RA’s

Residential advisors at a Cal Poly apartment complex went door-to-door recently handing out instructions for avoiding cultural appropriation on Cinco de Mayo.

The flyers urge students not to wear “a sombrero, fake mustache, or serape,” and to avoid calling their parties “Cinco de Drinko.”

Instead, the guidelines suggest supporting “AUTHENTIC Mexican businesses” and asks students to “hold your friends accountable” if they act disrespectfully.

Moral busybodies who do not allow any fun, no fun allowed unless we approve of it.

Though I do agree with supporting Mexican businesses, this is fucking stupid, and I have no idea how these sociopathic juvenile whiners have fun.

Soon nobody will be allowed to do anything, and all we will be doing is working and sleeping, and a lot of people already do this.

The newly-elected student government President and Vice President at Clemson University are already ruffling feathers with a proposal to institute mandatory LGBTQ “ally training” for faculty and staff.

Wow, they are really trying to brainwash these entitled little brats even more, they all already think they are the 60 trillion new genders and sexualities already. They do not need to be made even more special than they already think they are.

This is getting to the point where I want to just scrap college for everyone, and make these entitled little babies work instead.
